Red snapper, red snapper and more red snapper have been waiting a whole year for you to bring a bunch of them home to eat. There appears to be more snapper and larger snapper than I have seen in many years, so you should not have any trouble of catching your share of 2 red snapper per person. The king mackeral and Spanish mackeral appear to have moved on out into a little deeper water where it appears to be a lot clearer. They are not as plentiful as they were in late April. Offshore fishing is coming on real strong, all of the fish are biting good. The only problem is the ones you can’t bring home will take your bait before the ones you can bring can get to your bait. During the month of June, you cannot bring to the dock a gag grouper, amberjack, or trigger fish. The red grouper and scamp are plentiful in the 150 - 200 feet of water. Also, we are looking forward to the wahoo and mahi mahi showing up this month. I think June is going to be a very plentiful for all of us fishermen.
